One Night In Paris

Josie lives in Paris with her British Flat mate Chrissie, and works with another Brit called Libby. They live the high life going out to bars, restaurants and clubs, usually at the expense of their friend Daniel, who is besotted by Chrissie. At one of these infamous days out Josie meets Max and they begin a steamy but secret relationship. Max already has a girlfriend whom it quickly becomes evident he has no intention of dumping. On another of the girls’ nights out, they meet a group of French Air traffic controllers and for two of the girls, this meeting is set to change the paths of their lives forever. Chrissie begins dating Claude but the relationship is put in turmoil by a rape attempt on Chrissie by Thierry Dupré, the disturbed son of her boss who thinks English girls are easy. After a few months, Josie realises that Max is simply using her for sex so she storms out of his apartment, vowing never to have anything to do with him again. Max continues to try to persuade her to go back to being his lover. But Josie resists and starts seeing Max’s friend Paul. He proves too possessive for Josie and the relationship ends. Eventually Max and his girlfriend split up and he tries again to win Josie back. But she’s now alert to his ways and she quickly recognises that he has not changed.
